AI Code Review, Integrated Properly — Not a Bot That Comments on Everything

We integrate AI code review into existing engineering workflows — and we run one ourselves, so the advice comes from operating it rather than reading about it. What we deliver: review wired into your pull-request flow on the platform you already use; provider routing, so a price change at one vendor is a config change and not a migration; guardrails on what gets sent out, including which repositories are excluded and why; and a measurement plan, so "is this working" has a number attached.

AI Code Review Integration — Frequently Asked Questions

What will you tell me up front?

Code review sends your diff to a model provider. For most teams that is an acceptable trade and we will help you scope it. For regulated or health-data codebases it often is not — we exclude those from our own tooling for exactly that reason, and we would advise you to do the same.

How is this different from turning on a code review bot?

A bot that comments on everything trains your team to ignore it. The work is deciding what is worth blocking a merge on, routing those requests to a model that can actually do the job, and excluding what should never leave your network. The integration is the deliverable, not the model.

Which platforms do you integrate with?

Whatever your pull requests already live in — GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, or a self-hosted equivalent. We wire review into the flow your team uses rather than asking the team to move to a new one.

What happens if a model provider raises prices or goes down?

That is what provider routing is for. Requests go through a layer that can switch vendors or fail over without touching the integration, so a pricing change or an outage at one provider is a configuration change rather than a migration.

How will I know whether it is working?

That is the measurement plan, and it is part of the engagement rather than an afterthought. We agree up front on what a useful review looks like for your codebase and how it will be counted, so the question has a number attached instead of an impression.

Do you also build developer tooling?

Yes. The AI coding IDE at /vibe-coding-ide is our own product, built and shipped by the same person who would do this integration. That is a different thing from this service, and it is the reason the advice here comes from running these systems rather than reading about them.

Why Denver clients choose a senior independent engineer over an agency

  • 20+ years shipping real products — the same engineer scopes, builds, and delivers your project.
  • UC Berkeley Computer Science + US Navy veteran — credentials that offshore agencies cannot fabricate.
  • Live portfolio — AIBuddy Desktop, Vibe Coding IDE, CourtEdge Analytics, and the NCAA Strategy Builder are public products you can download today.
  • Fixed-price proposals — scope is locked before work starts. No time-and-materials invoices that grow past the original estimate.
